whew The evaluators came back today. Thankfully, they had a cancellation so they came by this morning. Better than two days before vacation. :/ The big guns came out: an occupational therapist and a speech therapist. Madi is lagging behind developmentally but instead of telling me what I already know I learned that there's at least one good reason for it.The OT said that she has low tone and that means that it's a lot harder for her to do the things that other babies/toddlers are doing. It even affects her eating and speech. I'm hoping a therapist can come out next week for a session so we can get started on bringing Madi up to speed. I know she'd probably get there on her own but why not learn it now?
